Autumn Fayre raises £850!

On Friday, we kicked off the new fundraising year in style with the Autumn BBQ.  Hope everyone who came had a great time. The new inflatable bumper cars and coconut shy were definitely a big hit.

Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered: Jenny Giles, Tracy Gray, Helen Lyman Smith, Colette McCall, Wendy Pugh, Jenna Davies, Louise Tranter, Anya Small, Rachel Garratt, Rich Cusworth, James Hodgetts, Marvin Lee, Laura Clements, Charles Ramsey and Mandie Huckerby – and also the lovely Mike from Position Specific Coaching.

As a result of everyone’s hard work, the Autumn Fayre raised a fabulous £850!

Festival on the Green stall raises £150

Yet again it rained on the day of Festival on the Green, but hundreds hardy ‘Heathans’ turned out anyway, in their wellies, to enjoy the entertainment. As a result, the PTFA’s tea, coffee, snack and glitter tattoo stall raised a respectable £150! Thank you to everyone that came and helped swell the coffers.

Not long to go until the Summer Fayre! – 15 July 2017

Not long to go until the Summer Fayre! Lots of fun activities being planned…here’s just a taster.

Can you spare an hour of the day to help on a stall? Could you bake a cake for the cake tombola? It’s our biggest event and we really do need your support to help it end our fundraising year on a massive high. Thank you!

Halloween discos raise a whopping £864!

Thank you to everyone who supported the two Halloween discos on the last day before school broke up in October. Together, they raised a fantastic £864 – taking the 2016/17 fundraising total over £1,500 in the first half term alone.

The PTFA Committee would like to thank all the parents (and one big brother!) who pitched in to help decorate the hall and run the two discos, including Helen Lyman Smith, Louise Phillips, Krystal Phelan, Becky MacInnes, Rachel Garratt, Joanne Carter, Jenna Orton, Fi Harrison, Asha Nayaar, Lisa Rosen, Jason Moles, Lewis Le Couiliard and Dan Hulbert. We really couldn’t have done it without you!

PTFA funds fantastic mural for the school

How beautiful is this? This is the mosaic created for the whole school to enjoy by Year 4 Skylarks, in a workshop with Mrs Deane which was funded by the PTFA.

The mosaic has now been installed in the Sensory Garden and the children will get to see it for the first time after half term.

We will also run the chocolate, bottle and cake tombolas as always and really appreciate your support in gathering together prizes from your cupboards.

We’re doing it slightly differently this year, Here’s what we need:

Foundation Stage and Year 1

Chocolate! Come on, raid your cupboards, we know there’s good stuff hidden in there!

Years 2, 3 and 4

Bring out your bottles. Alcoholic and/or fancy soft drinks welcomed. Must be unopened. Come on, you can spare some of that Prosecco!

Years 5 and 6

It’s time to get baking so we have a fabulous cake tombola stall (Please wrap cakes in cling film or other clear plastic wrap to keep them fresh and clean).

Everyone!

Please return your jolly jars full of sweets and treats (empty jars, bags and ribbons will come home with your children this week). Always a big fundraiser!

Please drop your donated items into school reception before 3.30pm Wednesday 9th December.

Thank you!
